De uit Dordrecht afkomstige formatie Stefan Schill Band is geformeerd rond de jonge gelijknamige frontman van de band. Sinds het debuut op Big Rivers Fest in 2005, waar de toen 15 jarige zanger gitarist een verpletterende indruk achterliet met zijn doorleefde benadering van de blues, heeft de band een een stormachtige ontwikkeling doorgemaakt. Anno 2009 is de formatie uitgegroeid tot één van de betere bands die Nederland rijk is.

Op geheel eigen wijze weet de band invloeden als soul, funk, rock en roots te mixen met een - hit between the eyes attitude- beleving van de blues! Inmiddels als één van de jongste muzikanten ooit, getekend bij het vermaarde bluesrocklabel Provogue, heeft Steef een indrukwekkende lijst aan optredens op de grotere podia en festivals in zowel Nederland als ver daarbuiten. Momenteel werkt de band aan materiaal voor het nieuwe album voor Provogue, waar de release in het najaar van 2009 wordt verwacht.

Based in Dordrecht, Holland, the Stefan Schill Band is formed around the young frontman of the same name. At the age of fifteen, Stefan Schill left an astonishing impression at Big Rivers Festival in 2005, showcasing a straight from the heart approach to Blues music. Now, three years later, the band has evolved in to a solid sounding formation which ranks among the top performing bands in Holland.

In their own unique way the Stefan Schill Band mixes the influences of Soul, Funk, Rock and Roots, and blends them into a hit between the eyes experience of the Blues. Major Bluesrock label Provogue have signed up the young guitarslinger, one of the youngest musicians ever for this famous label. The band is currently working on new material for their debut album, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2009.
