Culemborg Blues
The event Culemborg Blues is a free yearly Blues festival which is
held in Culemborg at the
fourth Saturday of August. The festival is organized by the
Culemborg Blues Foundation.
Culemborg Blues is probably the biggest free blues festival in the
Netherlands. In 1994
Culemborg Blues was held for the first time.
The festival has several stages in the open air in the historical
centre of Culemborg. The
stages are: in front of the participating cafés, the Kids in the
Blues stage and the main stage
in front of the mediaeval city hall. This main stage is the biggest
and the most famous Blues
artists perform at this stage. Therefore the main stage draws the
most visitors.
Culemborg Blues 2009 is held Saturday the 22th of
August.
